Round Two - Glasgow, Scotland


UCI Track Cycling World Cup - Glasgow

The second round of the 2012/2013 UCI Track Cycling World Cup Series will take place in Glasgow, Scotland from the 16th-18th November 2012.

Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city with a population of 600,000 and 2.5 million in the city region. It is a modern city with its legendary friendliness and generous hospitality. Glasgow is home to world class attractions, fabulous restaurants, amazing architecture, exciting events and fantastic shopping.

The city has internationally renowned museums and gallaries including the magnificent Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum - Scotland's most popular visitor attraction, the unique Burrell Collection and the stunning Riverside Museum.

The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome is Britain’s newest venue for track cycling, a national cycling centre for Scotland that will build on Scotland’s success in the sport inspiring those who visit the facility. The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome is adjoned to a state of the art Athletics training and competition facility and the complex will also boast elite training facilities.
